I'm guessing you might be. Sensitivity and creativity often go hand in hand.
For me, sensitivity can look like this:
I can be stopped in my tracks by the color of a stranger's scarf
I can be blown away by the exquisite shape of a roadside tree

It can also look like this:
I'm the first to smell spoiled food in the fridge
I stuff my ears with shredded napkin in movie theaters
I limit consumption of news media to manage my mood
That last one is especially important.
We live in a world that appears to be at risk of imploding on any given day.
How do we cope with that?
Here's what I think: We do it with creativity.
We do it with our imagination, with our curiosity, with our ability to get lost in worlds of color, pattern, form and texture.
Creativity is how people like us survive in a world like ours
Why do I bring this up?
Because I'm hoping you're you're making time in your day to be creative!
It's important for creative people to make time to create (Even if it isn't upcycled bookbinding!)
When you create you're not just playing around, or being frivolous, or wasting time.
You're doing what sensitive, imaginative people need to do to survive (and thrive) in a world like ours.
So, tend to yourself! Keep your energy high so you can share that energy with others.
To quote theologian Howard Thurman:
Don't ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive and go do it, because what the world needs is people who have come alive
Sensitively,
